Alan(Anal) Oliver - Wide of the Mark

This article is about the Newcastle’s most famous, abused and laughed at journalist, the man, Alan Oliver or Anal as known to many Newcastle fans. Mr Craig Thompson, and I have read many of his articles, which are ‘wide of the mark’ 99.9% of the time. The man is a complete buffoon, his story yesterday of Man Utd thinking of trying to get Andy Cole back ffs and another story of Obafemi Martin’s being linked away.

Let’s start about Martin’s!! There’s hardly a day when you read the Chronicle when he hasn’t said something about Martin’s leaving, last week it was ‘Newcastle were interested in taking offers for 10 million over the summer’ after he scored twice v Bolton, weeks before that it was ‘Newcastle to Let Martins Go’, which brought out the following rapid response from BSA “This story is complete and utter fabrication. There’s nothing in it whatsoever.” Sam then confirmed this to the audience (Me and Thompson in attendance) that he wouldn’t be leaving. Then the next day he still says we need to sell him to buy players, (this has now been rubbished with signings of Smith and Enrique, without selling players). What has Martin’s done to Anal, is he Freddy’s new Lover, since Anal doesn’t get any attention now???!!!!

Then there was the transfer target’s we had lined up Enrique, Smith and the guy from Seville. It took him three days to get up to date with the Information, with Skysports reporting we had agreed a fee on the Friday and Oliver reporting it on Tuesday. He isn’t getting any information from the club at all and good, some of his reporting in the Roeder era was shocking, he said Thomas Gravesen has signed, then changing this to ‘wide of the mark’, after saying ‘my sources tell me’. This is also true in the Sidwell case, which was a farce as far I was concerned, he said the deal was signed and a done deal.

Then there was the story of the Fat One leaving, the story was so cringe worthy it was untrue. Like when he say’s, ‘I felt I was stabbed in back, when I was seriously ill’, I could go on all day about this but I will leave for me and also Mr Thompson to discuss in further articles.
Keep The Faith!!!!
