The Death of the Average Football Fan

This week plan’s by the Premier League to play a 39th game abroad, have rightly came out a fierce backlash by fans. Many fans’ was wondering was it April 1st was the astonishment at the plans made by the Premier League. Fans already pay out of their backside on Season Tickets and now they are expected if they want to watch their team to go to Australia or LA. Fuck! That’s It for Me, will be the cry from many fans if these plans do ahead. Football fans where always the first priority in all clubs in the past but now this shows clubs will do anything to get extra money no matter if they lose fans for it. What I do believe is that it will bite them back and hard, many fans think there’s far too much money involved in football already. Players are paid too much but it’s the clubs that give them these ridiculous wages and when clubs get more money they will ask for bigger contracts and the clubs will say yes to them as usual.

If the idea of playing the games wasn’t bad enough, the fact it will made the number of games 39 which would made it the only league in the world no to fair (1 Home and 1 Away Game). Then the fact there will be points awarded for it, well imagined if clubs get relegated from that result, fans and clubs will be in uproar etc. (To Press Through Rule Changes their only needs to be 14 of the 20 clubs to vote in favor of it), so you would expect Legal Challenges from any club who lost that extra game etc. What rounds of the idea is the fact the top 4 would be seeded to avoid each other, this would then prove to many fans the top have a bias towards them from the Leagues and Authorities (FA) which actually makes me sick to be honest. The sooner the top 4 break away into the European Super league which they want the better and make the league now a whole lot more competitive and better to watch for the other 16 teams.


All of this on-top of the stupid kick-off times which annoys most fans who go to games, it’s fine for people watching on telly but for fans paying ticket money, like today when we play Villa fans leaving at 5am FFS, just show sky can show another game on telly. The fact that it costs over £45pm to pay for sky makes it worse and they will be many people trying to create these games abroad as they would make a fortune from it. Clubs like ManUSA who sold themselves to these foreign investors, the fact the Glaziers are actually using the clubs money to buy the club for themselves only cause they could gain the finance to buy them. I could buy a club if someone was stupid to give me the finance for one. At least the Real Man Utd fans knew when enough was enough to set up FC United, as they wanted to watch and support a club like that they we're raised on. Then we have Mr Abromovich, who has ruined football, just when wages and transfers we're starting to decrease he come's in spending £100 millions which mean't other clubs started to spend 10's millions to try and catch them along with Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd, (also the fact that they we're 5 days from going out of business and gallas was going to join the toon for 5 million).

Football has sold its soul, and soon many fans will lose their soul’s with their clubs.
