Support Your Club (Please)

You may not like the majority of our squad, you may not like some of the decisions by Keegan, and you may not like the actions of Ashley and Mort this season. But this the biggest week in Newcastle’s recent history and since the last week of the 1991/92 season, where David Kelly’s volley v Portsmouth and Steve Walsh’s unforgettable own-goal (for many different reasons) kept Newcastle from going into the football wilderness. So support YOUR team, we are stuck with the players and management till end of the season, but we need to get behind them 200% for these 2 games especially and for the remaining games of the season.

I have been described as fickle for complaining a lot this season, but at least I support the team 100% when they are on the pitch, I will always back and support the team. So if you can get to St James on Saturday, do so as this club needs all the support it can get at the moment.

A win today and a win v Fulham would put us hopefully 9 points ahead of Bolton (If They Lose to Both of the Manchester teams. As soon as we win and get some deservedly good luck, the wins will start. We should have scored at least 4 v Blackburn if it wasn’t for some poor finishing by Michael Owen.

COME ON THE TOON
